3/26/2019  -  For Todd Titus, L’20, Capital University Law School checked off every box on the list of schools he was considering. Great location? Friendly students? Welcoming atmosphere? Professors interested in helping him to succeed? Check, check, check and check.

In fact, Todd says his favorite part about CapLaw is his fellow students. “The class size allows for more communication with most of the class,” he says, “where it becomes difficult to walk down a hallway without running into one of your friends.”

He also appreciates the school’s location in Columbus. Not only is it not too far from his hometown of Richmond, Indiana, but there are plenty of events, nightlife and other activities to offer a break from studying.

Todd says he enjoys the wide array of classes offered at Capital University Law School, adding that his favorite is the legal analysis, research and writing course taught by Professor Jeffrey Snapp. “The course was a way to apply what I had been learning in the other classes,” he says.

Todd earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry, with a minor in biophysics, from Indiana University-East in 2017. Following graduation from CapLaw, he hopes to specialize in intellectual property and patent law.”

In Columbus, Todd also has had a chance to intern at local law firms and assist the Legal Aid Society.

“Attending Capital has been a great experience,” he says, “and is one that I am happy I made.”
