4/12/2017  - Brandi Staley, L’17, has no difficulty naming things she likes about Capital University Law School. “You can’t beat the location,” she says. “Columbus is an amazing city with a ton of things to occupy your time.” She also likes Capital’s small class sizes and its downtown location. Brandi loves being able to walk to work, the Supreme Court, the Statehouse, and almost anywhere she wants to go. Brandi cites these benefits as some of the reasons why she chose to attend Capital.

After growing up in Canal Winchester, Ohio, Brandi Staley attended Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, where she majored in environmental and natural resources with a concentration in economics and policy. Brandi’s undergraduate experience propelled her into law school to pursue environmental law. Now a third-year day student, she is concentrating in environmental and energy law.

Thus far, Brand’s favorite classes in law school have been evidence and environmental law. Her favorite activity is going to COSI, the interactive science museum. Brandi also enjoys being outside and visiting the numerous parks in Columbus, and eating at all the phenomenal restaurants.

After graduating from Capital, Brandi wants to work in environmental law. Brandi attributes the many environmental and energy law classes offered at Capital as being the most beneficial to her future career.
