Important Information

Final Transcripts

All students who enroll at Capital Law must provide a final, official transcript from your undergraduate degree-granting college or university prior to the start of class.

Transcripts must be sent directly from your undergraduate institution to the LSAC.

If you had already graduated and sent a final official transcript to LSAC when you applied, you do not need to resend it.

If you were still enrolled in classes when you applied and sent your transcript to LSAC, you will need to send a final official copy once you graduate.

If you need any clarity about whether or not we need your final, official transcript from your undergraduate degree-granting college or university please reach out to admissions@law.capital.edu

Scoop Up, Orientation, and PREP

Your law school career does not begin on the first day of class; before classes begin in Fall 2025, your attendance is required at Scoop Up Days, Orientation, and PREP. These events and programming are designed to help you transition into learning the law and becoming a member of our law school community as successfully as possible. If you believe you have a conflict for any of these events, please communicate this conflict to the Admissions Team as soon as possible at admissions@law.capital.edu. Programing, details, and dates are as follows:

THE FOLLOWING EVENTS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL INCOMING STUDENTS.

SCOOP UP MATERIALS DAYS
Admitted Students will be able to choose a timeslot to visit the Law School prior to Orientation and PREP. This casual, drop-in event will give you an opportunity to pick up your ID, parking permit, and schedule. IT will be available to connect your laptop/phone/tablet to the internet and printing system; we recommend you bring your electronic devices with you so you can connect before the first day of Orientation. Financial Aid will be available to answer questions, and the Student Bar Association will have lockers available to rent. While you scoop up your materials, we'll scoop you some ice cream!

Registration to select a time to pick up materials will be available June 2025. All Part-Time Evening students must attend a timeslot on Thursday, July 31st.

DATES: Thursday, July 31, 2025 & Thursday, August 7, 2025

Scholarship Terms and Conditions

Beginning with the Fall 2024, all entering scholarships are guaranteed. So long as a student maintains good financial standing and is not otherwise dismissed, that student will keep their scholarship for three years of full-time study, or four years of part-time study.

We are proud to provide secure scholarships that our students can rely upon throughout law school. We find that these scholarships provide a greater sense of financial security and help foster and promote an increased sense of community.
