Exam Accommodations
The Capital University Office of Accessibility Service must approve exam accommodations. Contact the office for more information or to begin the process. Visit https://www.capital.edu/about/accessibility-services/ or email accessibilityservices@capital.edu.
To schedule an exam with an approved accommodation, submit a semester request via Accommodate.
- Select “Schedule an Exam” > select New Exam Request > select Course as “Law School Accommodated Exams”
- Complete the information as instructed in the Law School Student Accommodate Guide (available in Accommodate)
Midterms must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance and finals must be scheduled at least one month in advance. Students who schedule with less notice may forfeit their ability to use their exam accommodations as pre-planning is required.
The Office of Student Affairs at the Law School will coordinate and administer approved accommodated exams. If you have questions about utilizing your exam accommodations, contact Student Affairs at studentaffairs@law.capital.edu.
Exam Conflicts
If you have two midterm or final exams within 24 hours, please complete the online Exam Conflict Form.

Sample Exams
Students may be provided access to past exams or examples of exam questions by professors. Generally, such access is provided in class by the professor either through handouts or via a professor's Canvas or TWEN page.
