FIRST ASSIGNMENT

For the first class read, and be prepared to discuss, pp. 25-33 in the Spankling treatise, as well as pp. 1, 19-27 in the Dukeminier, Krier, Alexander, Schill & Strahilevitz case book.  Pay particular attention to the notes that follow the case of Pierson v. Post in the Dukeminier & Krier case book.  See if you can answer the questions that the authors raise in the notes.
