National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law

Congratulations to Team 16 from Southern Illinois University, who is this year’s winner of its National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law.  Team 16 included members Sophia Allen, Caitlynne Dixon, and Joseph Strater.  This year’s runner-up was Team 15 from OSU Moritz, which included team members Bridget Dickens, Aaron Gonzalez, and Helen Lohre.
 
The award for Best Oralist in the Final Round went to Sophia Allen.
 
The award for Best Brief went to Capital’s own Team 7, comprised of Becca Alexander, Taylor Nolan, and Nicole Van Gundy.
