Biography

Professor Sabu serves as an Assistant Professor of Law at Capital University Law School, where he teaches tax and business associations. Previously, he clerked for the United States Tax Court and served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law. Professor Sabu also worked as an international tax associate at the Palo Alto office of Baker McKenzie LLP.   

Professor Arvind Sabu researches the taxation of cryptocurrencies. He explores the ways new technological architectures challenge and present opportunities for the operation of the tax system.   

Professor Sabu received his JD from Berkeley Law, and earned his LLM from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. He holds a BA from Amherst College and an MA from Columbia University. 

He welcomes the opportunity to collaborate on the rich questions presented by the taxation of cryptocurrencies.
