The Center provides facilitation services to government agencies, community
organizations, and non-profit organizations. Facilitation refers to processes in
which neutral third parties coordinate and conduct multi-party meetings designed
to resolve a conflict, create a collaborative policy, or simply share
information and perspectives.
Facilitation is helpful when there are many parties to a conflict who
represent varying perspectives and yet are interconnected. Facilitation is used
to resolve disputes involving many issues including:
zoning and land use, and
inter and intra-organizational disagreements.
