Incoming Students: Orientation

  • Orientation is designed to facilitate your smooth transition into law school and to prepare you to meet the challenges ahead. You will begin to gain an understanding of the paths to success during law school and upon entering the legal profession. You will also have several opportunities to get practical advice from upper level students , and mingle with faculty, administrators, staff, and classmates during social gatherings.

Orientation will culminate on Saturday morning with a Friends and Family program, designed to give your loved ones some insight into what you as law students will experience over the next three or four years, and how they can best support you through that exciting but sometimes difficult time. So please ask your spouses, partners, parents, or whoever matters most to you to attend Friends and Family Day.

Orientation is mandatory for all new students.
