Use this page to register for the Capital University Law School 2014 Summer ASP program.
The 2014 Summer Academic Success Program begins on Saturday, August 9 and runs continuously through Tuesday, August 19. Law School Orientation begins the evening of Wednesday, August 20, 2014.
The day program begins at 1:00 p.m. and runs approximately four hours each day, until 5:00 pm. The evening program begins at 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18, and also runs approximately four hours each day. Students admitted to the Law School Day Program will ordinarily be registered for the Summer Day ASP and students admitted to the Law School Evening Program will ordinarily be registered for the Summer Evening ASP, but, depending on the availability of space. However, this will depend on availability and some Law School Day Program students may be registered for the Summer Evening ASP. Please register early. Students may not opt out of any aspect of the program based on work schedule or other scheduling conflicts and no refunds will be issued.
For Those Required to Participate in ASP
If you were informed in your acceptance letter that you are required to participate in ASP, you will be registered automatically and will attend free of charge. You do not
need to register using this page. For Those Suggested to Participate in ASP
If you were informed in your acceptance letter that you are suggested to participate in ASP, you must complete this form to register for the program and may attend free of charge
. You do not need to pay for the program, and you should select the option that states I am a suggested student and do not need to submit payment. For Those Who Opt to Participate in ASP
For students that are neither required nor suggested for ASP, you must complete this form to register and pay a fee of $1,000
to participate in the program. Full payment must be made at the time of registration in order to reserve a place in the program. NOTE:
If space fills up in the Day Summer ASP, full-time day students will need to enroll in Evening Summer ASP. This will not affect your schedule after regular classes begin, on Monday, August 25.Preparation
You do not need to do anything to prepare for Summer ASP over the next several weeks. A link to the necessary materials and schedule will be e-mailed to your Capital University Law School email account
approximately one week before the program begins. At that time, you will be given the information that you will need to prepare for the first day of class, which will take you an hour or two. For more information, see ASP FAQs
