The Services Committee was created to enhance the student experience. The membership includes Dean Janutis, Dean Mihely, Dean DiSanza, Shawn Beem, Mary Nienaber, Stacy Ingraham, Darren Nealy, Yvonne Twiss, and Shirley Lange. One way in which this committee is reaching its goal is the formation of work groups to create programs and activities that benefit students.
Conversations Work Group
The purpose of the Conversations Work Group is to provide a structure for immediate discussion of current topics. Past programs have included the Michael Vick and Jena 6 panels. Future topics have not been decided on, however we are looking for suggestions. If you are interested in providing some ideas or other comments for the group, please email Darren Nealy.
Good Cheer Work Group
The purpose of the Good Cheer Work Group is to schedule fun activities for students during the school year. It is comprised of Dean DiSanza, Darren Nealy, and Shawn Beem. This group provided food at the end of Summer session, held Faux Fall Break, and has conducted raffles. It plans to continue with these types of activities throughout each school year.
