Capital University Law School has a comprehensive
summer paralegal program with all the legal theory and practical,
hands-on skills training that are hallmarks of our traditional paralegal
program.
Beginning each year in May,
the summer paralegal program is an intensive 14-week program that
lets you reduce the amount of time in class before beginning your
paralegal career. You can become employed as a non-lawyer legal professional
quickly, but with comprehensive paralegal education.
This elite, intensive program
is one of only two summer paralegal programs offered nationally. It’s
designed for the professional who wants to gain valuable experience
as well as an American Bar Association (ABA)-approved certificate
program.
Students are enrolled on
continuous or rolling admissions basis.
Permission
of the Paralegal Program Executive Director is required to transfer
any required or elective courses into the program. Only courses from
an ABA approved program are transferable upon the discretion of the
Executive Director. A maximum of 9 semester credit hours as transfer
credits will be allowed for all paralegal courses (required and elective).
