A broad spectrum of students attends the Paralegal Program at Capital University Law School. Each starting class includes individuals who are full-time employees, moms and dads, recent grads, those who are changing careers, and some who are coming back to school and the work force after a long absence. Because of the diverse student population, we provide flexibility in program options:Evening Program – We accept new evening students in the fall and spring semesters each year. Evening students attend classes three times each week – on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 9:00 am until noon. You will complete the program (27 credit hours) within one year – or three semesters – taking 9 credit hours each semester.
Summer Immersion Program – For those who want the challenge of an accelerated start to your paralegal career, Capital offers the full-time, day Summer Immersion program. You will complete all 27 credit hours within 14 weeks by attending classes on Mondays through Fridays. This is an intensive program that requires a full-time commitment by our students, most of whom do not work during the Summer Immersion schedule.
Please note: We must have a minimum of 5 students registered for the Summer Immersion Program in order to go forward with the 2017 class. If we do not have the required minimum of 5 students, we will move your application to the Evening Program (fall or spring start) or the following summer.
I chose Capital’s Paralegal Program because it is an ABA-approved, post-baccalaureate certificate program. The Summer Immersion option was perfect for me. I received a thorough paralegal education in a short amount of time so I could get my career going in an exciting, new direction.
