Congratulations Capital Graduates - #1 in State on July Ohio Bar Exam!

Capital University Law School graduates had a 94% first-time pass rate on the July 2008 Ohio Bar Exam, placing Capital first in the state!
Of the Law School's 138 first-time bar takers, 130 passed.
“We have come a long way in five years and have achieved our strategic plan goal for three years running now: ‘Above the state average for first-time takers…and annual improvement in the percentage of all takers…’,” said Dean Jack A. Guttenberg. “Capital gives students the opportunity to pursue a great legal education. With their incredible hard work and by taking advantage of our excellent faculty, programs and services, they are successful.”
Guttenberg praised the students, faculty and staff: “This is a great day for Capital University Law School and our alumni. I am extremely proud of our graduates and our dedicated faculty and staff at the Law School for all they have accomplished.”

The Law School will celebrate the success of its alumni at a Bar Success Reception, Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, 5:30 – 7:30 pm in the Law School’s Huntington Commons.
