Capital University Law School graduates had a 94% first-time pass rate on the July 2008 Ohio Bar Exam, placing Capital first in the state!

Of the Law School's 138 first-time bar takers, 130 passed.

“We have come a long way in five years and have achieved our strategic plan goal for three years running now: ‘Above the state average for first-time takers…and annual improvement in the percentage of all takers…’,” said Dean Jack A. Guttenberg. “Capital gives students the opportunity to pursue a great legal education.  With their incredible hard work and by taking advantage of our excellent faculty, programs and services, they are successful.”

Guttenberg praised the students, faculty and staff: “This is a great day for Capital University Law School and our alumni. I am extremely proud of our graduates and our dedicated faculty and staff at the Law School for all they have accomplished.”
