Professor Anderson Honored by SBA

6/20/2018  -  Starting this year, the Student Bar Association will present an outstanding faculty award each spring to a professor who has shown extraordinary commitment to the advancement of students’ educational experiences and professional futures. SBA will accept nominations from students each spring and present the award at the end of the academic year.

This year, the SBA is honoring Professor Scott Anderson for his outstanding contributions to legal education and his mentorship of the student body. The SBA award signifies that Professor Anderson exemplifies all that is good in legal education and in academic life at Capital University Law School.

“The man has a love for the educational process which is both refreshing and unparalleled by his peers,” said one nominating student. “He has been a constant source of support and encouragement for many student organizations.”

Professor Anderson teaches Legal Research and Writing, Criminal Law, Legal Drafting, and Criminal Responsibility. He provides faculty advising for several students from law review each year and he is a mentor to many students who seek his counsel. He serves as the faculty advisor for the Criminal Law Association and the Christian Legal Society. We thank him for his significant contributions to the Capital Law School academic experience by recognizing him with this award.
