Constitutional Conversations

5/17/2017  -  On May 11, 2017, Professor Dan Kobil and alumna Colleen Marshall, L'04 (Massucci Law Group; Anchor NBC 4 News) facilitated a conversation entitled, “The First Amendment: Freedoms of Speech, Press, and Assembly,” hosted by the Columbus Bar Association. Professor Kobil’s presentation focused on the history and current interpretations of the First Amendment, while Ms. Marshall talked about the practical implications of these important liberties for members of the Press. The event was well attended and sparked lively discussion among a group of practicing attorneys, representatives of the Columbus Bar Association, law students, and a class of government students from Cristo Rey Columbus High School who are currently studying the U.S. Constitution.
