NCALP Autumn Wine Celebration Supports Fellowships

 The National Center for Adoption Law and Policy invites you to its Annual Autumn Wine Celebration on October 11th, 2013. Funds raised through this annual event help to support all NCALP initiatives, including the many opportunities NCALP offers to Capital University students. Through the NCALP’s HER Adoption and Child Welfare Law Fellowships and the Felicia Beth Nekritz Juvenile Law Fellowship, funding is available to second and third year students who are interested in pursuing a career in child welfare, adoption, or juvenile law upon graduation.

This school year, NCALP has four fellows participating in the program: Kelly DeBrouwer, Jheri Lipscomb, Heather Hardin-Theus and Kelsey Ronald. In addition, the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys has established funded an NCALP internship in adoption law; 3L Tara Steiner has been selected as the first intern in this program. NCALP also serves as the supervising site for a Capital Law extern, two two Capital University social work students, and a Columbus high school intern. Please join the Center at the Autumn Wine Celebration for a night of fun and an opportunity to support Capital University law students pursue their interests in child welfare, adoption and juvenile law.
