MDR Financial Information Summer 2013

  • Billing Information

    • Tuition is $546 per credit hour.
    • Maryann Lutz, Assistant Director of Student Accounts, is available for questions and special arrangements. Ms. Lutz’ office is located at the Bexley campus. She can be reached at mlutz@capital.edu or 614-236-6216.
    • All statements prepared by the Finance Office will be sent to students via the student’s Capital University email address only. 
    • The Summer tuition payment is due August 26, 2013. For those registering after the tuition due date, payment is due upon receipt.
    • Deferred Payment Plan: The Fall deferred tuition payments are due August 26, 2013, September 26, 2013 and October 25, 2013. Please see Deferred Payment Plan form for complete instructions.
    • Employee Provided Payment Plan fee is $25.00. Under this plan, tuition payments are due no later than March 14, 2014. This form should be submitted to the Office of Records and Registration. See Employee Provided Payment form.
    • Late Payment Fee: $150.00 (Charged to unpaid accounts approximately 10 days after due date).
     

    Tuition Refund Policy

    To withdraw from an individual course or to withdraw completely from the Law School, the student must complete and submit the appropriate form to the Office of Records & Registration. No refund will be made without such official written notification.

    For a student who officially withdraws from the Law School or from a Law School course or courses during a semester or term, the amount of tuition due to the Law School is determined by the student’s official withdrawal date as set by the Office of Records & Registration. The amount of the refund is calculated based upon the withdrawal date as follows:
     

    For Non-Intensive Courses

    75%                drop or withdrawal through the 2nd week of the semester (June 2, 2013)
     50%                drop or withdrawal through the 3rd week of the semester (June 9, 2013)
     0%                drop or withdrawal after the 3rd week of the semester (after June 9, 2013

     

    For Intensive Formatted Courses:

    These courses must be dropped prior to the start of the 2nd class meeting class for a full refund. If dropped after the start of the 2nd class meeting, no refund will be granted.
