*If you have not completed Entrance Counseling or signed a Master Promissory Note(s) for the Stafford and/or Graduate PLUS Loans, you may do so electronically on the Department of Education website. If you have requested a Graduate PLUS Loan, the Department of Education will access your credit score to determine if you meet the criteria to receive funding. By signing a Master Promissory Note, you are providing authorization to access your credit history and your credit score.
All disbursements are released based on the assumption that the student will be enrolled for the full duration of the semester. If a student withdraws prior to the end date of the semester for any reason, Capital University Law School may be required to return loan funds to the Department of Education. This may result in a balance owed to Capital University Law School. By signing below, you are verifying that you accept responsibility for any balance owed that may result from withdrawing from the program prior to the end of the term.
If a student changes programs or otherwise reduces his or her enrollment after the beginning of the semester, the student’s loan eligibility will most likely be affected. All disbursements are released based on the assumption that the student will remain enrolled in his or her current program for the required number of credit hours. If a student changes programs or drops credit hours prior to the end date of the semester for any reason, Capital University Law School may be required to return loan funds to the Department of Education. This may result in a balance owed to Capital University Law School. By signing below, you are verifying that you accept responsibility for any balance owed that may result from reducing your course load prior to the end of the term.
Please carefully review the University’s Tuition Refund Policy before signing this form. The full policy is on the University’s web site . If a student withdraws from his or her program or drops hours, the student may still be responsible for covering at least a portion of the tuition. Please make sure you have carefully reviewed this policy before you agree to request this loan.
