Biography

Shannon is an Associate at the Scott Law Firm, LPA. Shannon's law practice is dedicated to criminal defense. She has jury trial experience in cases ranging from misdemeanor OVI to murder. 

In 2009, Shannon served as co-counsel in State v. Derris Lewis. Mr. Lewis was accused of brutally murdering his twin brother. He was later acquitted of all charges and received a $950,000.00 settlement from the City of Columbus. Shannon received the Louisville Slugger Award from the Central Ohio Association for Justice in 2009 and was named Capital University Law School Young Alumna of the Year in 2010.

Additional professional experience

Shannon currently serves as the Chairperson of the Criminal Law Committee for the Central Ohio Association for Justice.
