Biography

 Vince Nardone is the managing member of Nardone Law Group, LLC. His main area of expertise is representing individuals and businesses in federal, state and local civil and criminal tax controversy matters. This representation extends from the initial audit and examination conducted by the taxing authorities to the administrative appeals process, court review, and collection matters. He has an expertise in handling matters with the Internal Revenue Service, Ohio Department of Taxation, other state taxing authorities, and many municipalities within Ohio.

Professor Nardone’s firm is also actively involved in the representation of professional businesses, including dental practices and physician groups. This representation includes formation and operational issues, choice of entity, professional license and disciplinary matters, employment matters, business succession planning, practice acquisitions, and associate buy-ins. Professor Nardone also works closely with each client’s accountant and financial advisor regarding day-to-day financial, accounting, and tax planning and advice.

As a former FBI agent, Mr. Nardone also uses the skills that he acquired as an effective interviewer and interrogator to the benefit of his client’s; both in an adversarial setting with third parties but also in his day-to-day interaction in his client’s personnel and general business matters. He is also the former chair of the Columbus Bar Association Business Tax Committee.

Professor Nardone teaches in the Capital University Graduate Tax Program as an adjunct professor for: (i) Tax Practice & Procedure; (ii) Tax Research and Writing; and (iii) Business Planning.
