Biography

An expert in African-American males and the law and mediation and dispute resolution, Professor Floyd Weatherspoon has published in law journals and newspapers, is frequently quoted in the press in such publications as USA Today and The Columbus Dispatch and travels to speak at national conferences and on panel discussions regularly. As associate dean for Alternative Dispute Resolution Programs Professor Weatherspoon is responsible for administration of the Law School’s various alternative dispute resolution programs.

He has been honored for his research and his service to the legal community, as well as his support and participation in organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

A member of the National Bar Association and the American Bar Association, he also serves as an external Administrative Judge for the EEOC.
