Biography
Professor Grant joined Capital in 2008. He teaches Business Associations and Estates and Trusts. He previously served as an Assistant Professor of Law at the Appalachian School of Law, and as a Lecturer in Law at West Virginia University College of Law. Professor Grant has taught courses on Secured Transactions, Estate Planning (including Gift and Estate Taxation), Federal Income Taxation, Legal Process, and Legal Research and Writing. His areas of research and writing include business entity choice and succession planning, taxation of trusts and individuals, estate planning, technology and the law, and issues of diversity in the legal profession.
