Professor Distelhorst teaches Contract Law, Secured Transactions, and Payment Systems, and previously taught Bankruptcy and Professional Responsibility in the Law School, and Business Ethics and Leadership/Followership Seminar in the MBA Program of the School of Management. Before coming to Capital, Professor Distelhorst taught accounting and finance and practiced both general and business law. Today, Professor Distelhorst speaks and publishes in his special interest areas of business and legal ethics and regularly advises corporations in the area corporate ethics and compliance programs. Professor Distelhorst is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Foundation and the Columbus Bar Foundation.
