CLE information for attorneys: This activity has been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 34.50 CLE hours, with 2.50 CLE hours of attorney professional conduct instruction. This in-depth 40-hour training is designed to provide individuals with the critical skills and knowledge necessary to begin mediating. Exercises, lectures, role-play sessions, and videos provide participants with the conceptual framework and key techniques to effectively conduct the seven-stage mediation process. During role-play sessions CDR provides one trainer for every four trainees so that each participant will have the opportunity to mediate several disputes and receive specific feedback and assistance from a skilled and experienced mediation trainer.
