    1973 

    Fred Mills  Fred Mills, head of the Government Relations group at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP; former Clerk of the Ohio House; and Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the House has been selected to serve on the Ohio Constitutional Modernization Commission. He also has been included on the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list in the area of Government Relations.

      Michael Romanello has been included on the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list in the areas of Medical Malpractice Law (Defendants) and Personal Injury Litigation (Defendants).

     Daniel Balmert  F. Daniel Balmert has been included on the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list in the area of Worker’s Compensation Law – Employers.
     Dave Hardymon  David W. Hardymon has been included on the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list. David’s practice ares are Appellate, Commercial Litigation, Ethics and Professional Responsibility Law.

    Vorys  John "Jay" C. Vorys has been included on the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list. Jay's practice areas are Banking and Finance Law, Corporate Law.

         		 Brian Dengler has been included on the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list in the area of Information Technology Law.

    1986

     

    Brad Sinnot   Brad Sinnot, a partner at the Columbus law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, is the newest member of the Franklin County Board of Elections. Sinnott chairs the Franklin County Republican Party’s Central Committee and will continue to serve in that role. Mr. Sinnott also has been included on the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list in the area of Worker’s Compensation Law – Employers.
    B Kaplan
         		 Ulmer & Berne LLP has announced that Bradley D. Kaplan, a partner who splits his time between the firm’s Cincinnati and Chicago offices, has been elected Chairman of the World Services Group. The inauguration took place at the World Services Group Annual Meeting Sept. 7 in London, England.
     
    Boggs
         		 Theodore A. Boggs has been included in the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list in the areas of Environmental Law and Litigation – Environmental.
     

    1987

      Lisa Eschleman has been named the new executive director for the Ohio Center for Law Related Education.

    1988

      Jud Scheaf and two colleagues have formed Welin O'Shaughnessy & Scheaf LLC in the Warehouse District in downtown Columbus.

    1994

      Adam C Miller has joined Taft Stettinius & Hollister as a partner in the public law and education litigation practice groups.
      Jay S. Willis was appointed Judge of the Domestic Relations Court of Scioto County in Portsmouth, Ohio.   
      Paulette Ivan has been included on the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list in the area of Workers' Compensation Law (Employers).

    1998

     Rutz  Allen L. Rutz has been included on the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list in the area of Construction Law.

    2001

    Settiner  Michael J. Settineri has been included on the 2013 Best Lawyers in America list in the area of Energy Law.
      Gordon Evans II, an attorney at The Donohey Law Firm, won the largest amateur boxing tournament in the country, which took place in Kansas City, Missouri. He competed in the masters heavyweight division in the 35 years and above age group. This was his second title in the past three years.

    2002

    Michael Bonasera  Michael D. Bonasera and his wife, Gretchen, welcomed son Thomas Benjamin on June 18.

    2004

     Zach Klein  Zachary M. Klein and his wife, Genevieve Persichetti, welcomed daughter Stella Rose on July 12.

     

    2006

    Elizabeth Moyo  Elizabeth C. Moyo and her husband welcomed daughter Emma Lindiwe on July 12. 

    2007

      Melissa Messina, '03, L'07, and her husband Robert Lanthorn welcomed daughter Grace Marie Lanthorn on October 9.
