Security: Please enter the building through the Capital Street doors and stop at the security desk. Visitors must sign in with a form of identification (photo identification is preferred; however, other identification will be considered including but not limited to an appointment with a bill, social security card, etc.) and wear a visitor badge for the duration of their visit. Location of Training Room: Room 572 is located on the fifth floor of the law school. Go to the elevators above you on the second floor. As you exit the elevator on the fifth floor turn to your left, make another left at the hallway, follow the hallway as it rounds a corner and continue until you come to the next hallway. Turn right and Room 572 is directly in front of you at the end of the hall. Cancellation & Refund Policy: Notice of cancellation or rescheduling must be received in writing (letter, fax, or email). Any approved refund of payment by check or credit card will be made by sending check for original amount less processing fee to the person or entity who wrote the check or whose credit card was charged. Cancellation requests received 15 or more calendar days prior to the training date will be accessed a 5% fee. Cancellation requests received 7 to 14 calendar days prior to the training date will be assessed a $50 fee. Cancellations with less than 7 calendar days written notice will not be refunded. Individuals may transfer to the next scheduled training at no additional charge. Substitute participants will be accepted at any time. CDR reserves the right to cancel any program at any time due to low enrollment, and we apologize that CDR is not responsible for non-refundable travel and lodging arrangements. Please call us with any questions regarding this policy. If a registrant misses a significant part of a training class, the registrant may attend "missed segment(s)" at the next regularly-scheduled training at no extra charge. If the registrant missed a segment of the training that included small-group mediation role plays, the registrant may or may not be able to participate as a mediator in the role play activities. Center directors will use the student/teacher ratio to determine whether or not the returning registrant is able to participate as a mediator in the small-group mediation role plays at the "make-up" training. Please note it is the responsibility of the registrant to place the next regularly-scheduled training on her/his calendar as the Center for Dispute Resolution will not send a reminder.
