Alumni Professional Development

The Capital University Law School Office of Professional Development (OPD) provides graduates with resources and counseling beyond graduation and into their professional careers.  The OPD is also a liaison with employers interested in hiring CapLaw alumni.

Job Posting Board Access
The Office of Professional Development maintains an online job posting board for students and alumni called Symplicity.  You must have an account to access.  If you graduated after 2009, you already have an account.  Please email  OPD@law.capital.edu  to have your account password regenerated.  If you graduated prior to 2009, we will need to create an account for you.  To request an account, complete this form.

Counseling
An an alumnus or alumna of the Law School, you may meet one on one with a career counselor for career counseling, resume and cover letter review, interviewing preparation, job search planning, and any other career and professional development topic. To schedule an appointment, please call the office at 614-236-6888. Appointments may be scheduled for in-person meetings, telephone conferences, or online video conferencing via Skype.
