Alumni Awards

  • Capital University Law School is accepting nominations for it 2014 Alumni Awards. The deadline is Friday, November 1, 2013. 

    Young Alumnus of the Year
    Awarded annually to a living, Capital University Law School JD alumnus/alumna, born on or after July 1, 1973, who has made significant achievements in his/her legal occupation and has made notable contributions to the legal profession and the community.

    Alumni Outstanding Service Award
    Awarded annually to a Capital University Law School JD alumnus/alumna who has performed significant voluntary service, beyond the call of business or professional duty, to his/her community and/or Capital University Law School.

    G.O.L.D. Award
    Awarded annually to a Capital University Law School JD “Graduate of the Last Decade” who has made significant achievements in his/her occupation and has made notable contributions to the legal profession and/or the Law School.

    Distinguished Alumnus of the Year
    Awarded annually to a Capital University Law School JD alumnus/alumna who has made significant achievements in his/her legal occupation and has made notable contributions to the legal profession, community and the Law School through his/her activities and accomplishments.

    Impact Award 
    The Impact Award will be given to the Capital University Law School program or person (faculty or staff) that contributed most to the legal development and career of the person making the nomination. Please give a three to four sentence explanation about why this person or program made such an impact on your legal development/career.
